In my last post I spoke about visualization being a tool, which I use a lot to help me focus my thoughts and goals. I am not alone in using visualization, many successful people in every type of profession and industry use it to take them where they want to go. There are many stories of people going against the odds to bring about great wealth and fortune.

A lot of people just say the right place at the right time etc, but I genuinenly believe that you attract people and situations to yourself. If your having a hard time and things are not going your way then you will find that similar situations and feelings will keep coming back to you.
However those days when you wake up and everything going your way and things happen that you could never have expected! And everything is wonderful, it is because you are feeling good and attracting more good things to you! This works along side visualization in a very powerful way! The best way to explain these types of things is through examples and stories! So here we go this is my first inspiring story!

So you’ve heard of Jim Carrey right? Bruce Almighty? Liar, Liar? Dumb & Dumber you’ve got the picture. Anyway I Love this story!
In the eighties he was having a troubled time struggling as a comic/actor in Los Angeles, suffered with depression, barely made ends meet etc, He everyday would drive up to the top of a hill, in his old Toyota and visualize the life he wanted. He would visualize his fame and fortune in every detail. According to a variety of different sources, Carrey wrote a check in 1987 for $10 million dated Thanksgiving 1995, with a note ‘For acting services rendered’.

In 1995 he stared in Dumb & Dumber and received $10 million dollars. This story blows my mind every time I think about it!
